As far as fitment....The back of the trucklites is round as opposed to the JWs which stepped, so it fits inside adjustment bracket pretty snuggly. I think the only thing that trimming the bracket would do is sink the housing in the hole more more. If you look at my pic ypu csan see the lights stick out of the trim rim about 1/2" as opposed to being flush. I didnt think it was worth messing with...Once you tighten down the lock ring, the headlights arent going anywhere

Also im my opinion the JWs are kinda ugly and too "obvious"..Plus in the pic the light out put looks blue..Might just be the camera..The light out put on the truck lites is kinda purpleish like OEM HIDS/LEDS
