      Need input on this ride:

I'm looking for opinions on this car ...

Since the fuel injection is gone now, what do you think the effect will be to the MPG (not that I'm looking for Prius MPG).

      What would you change out?

Looks like a nice clean engine. If it runs good, why change anything. I bet it still gets 15-19 mpg, depending on conditions, speed, and transmission.

A properly tuned carb will get nearly identical MPG's as a throttle body EFI setup. I remember a shoot off of a carb vs. a few different EFI setups in a recent Hot Rod I believe. The MPG's came in within 1 MPG of one another, definitely not enough to justify the EFI cost in my opinion. Granted, this is with a totally properly tuned carb, so either a tuner or an A/F gauge would be required.
