      1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport

      1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport for sale. It has a 6.6L 400 c.i engine and a 400 automatic transmission. White paint with green vinyl top in fantastic condition. The body is GREAT! all original body panels with no rust, paint is great except on very front clip, there are a few chips on there. But if you wanted to convert this Lemans to the endura front end it wouldn't matter. Mileage is 44,736. Not sure if rolled over or not but the body and undercarriage are in such good condition I'd suspect it to be original miles. It has dual exhaust with brand new 40 series mufflers. The engine has an edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, and will include a new chrome aluminum intake manifold, can include brand new HEI distributor with sale (haven't installed yet, but will be installing soon if not selling). Has brand new oil change/filter, new spark plugs and new valve stems for the brand new tires. Has new dome light lens, and chrome rear ashtray. The valve covers have two new oil breathers. Has all new lug nuts, and the radiator was flushed and new coolant put in 3 weeks ago. This car also has new carpet in the interior. Interior color is the same as the vinyl top. Trunk is unbelievable, not a blemish in the entire thing. Frame is solid with no rust. The car has disc brakes in the front! Runs and drives great. This is an original A/C equipped car! Clean Title
      The bad---> Cracked front windshield-
      Rips in both the front buckets-(back seat has no rips)
      Back bumper has some blemishes
      Driver door Weatherstripping

      That's all the things wrong with the car, this is a fantastic car and if you do some market value research on the car its priced averagely, thanks for looking at this classic 1971 GM A-Body. Any questions feel free to contact me at 847-946-1974 (Text is preferred)

      Such a cool, solid car. It just amazes me it hasnt sold yet. If a guy spent a little making the interior nice (and a different color) this car would be a great cruiser.

      Thanks for the comment! It serves its job well as a cruiser for the time being. Every person that has come to see the car in person says the same thing "....but whats up with the green?!" Its just something that stood out as cool to me for some reason There is a guy coming out saturday that has seen the car and drove it a few weeks back, this time he's coming with cash and says he wants to buy it. So lets keep our fingers crossed :D

      Hey guys the th400 trans thats in there now feels like its on its way out to be blatantly honest. The car still runs and drives great. I've cruised all over the place with it for several hours at a time and long distances. But to be a good performance vehicle the trans will either have to be rebuilt or a new one put in its place to be 'fast', right nows its just a cool cruiser. I've researched and found good th400 trans on craigslist for 300-400 dollars. Not trying to hide anything in this car so I'm being pretty honest. The car is now Price dropped to 7000 dollars firm. Thats the lowest I can go. Located in Grayslake. I'd like to sell so this is my bottom dollar.
