      Striping ideas?

Hey folks. I getting to the paint part of my 67 vert. I am goint to go with a red,...candy, pearl, metallic...I don't know which yet. I was thinking about the rally stripes, or a yenko style stripe but doing it in checkers on a bias. Maybe even waving checkers and keeping it contained in the field of the stripe. What do ya think!

I've always been a fan of rally stripes on early Camaros my vote is go with the stripes...maybe a ghost checkered pattern in the stripe???

      ghost checkers

I dont suppose you have any pics of ghosted checkers on a car. I just thought it might be interesting to keep the checks in side the stripes.

His 69 Camaro inspired me in many ways. Mainly the stance! His car also inspired me to have some sort of ghost pattern or design.

I was going to respond yesterday but couldn't for the life of me remember Brent's last name. I see you beat me too it.

      That's the ticket!

Thanks Guys, That is exactly what I was thinking. I really like the subtle stripe. My Car has always been red with no stripes and I just don't see putting regular rally stripes on it. Some form of this ghost rally suits me fine.

      air cleaner fires

The air cleaner is already gone... I put a K&N filter top unit on the car. We were using the old edelbrock hat to keep stuff out of her throat. But thanks for the caution.
