Bbc 68 camaro
Is there anyone out there having any success running a BBC in an autocross car? Can weight savings in font end frame/sheet metal offset engine weight? Thanks for input.

The famous "Big Red" Camaro is a great street legal race car with a BBC. It is a pretty effective corner carver.

You can save 78 lbs off a big block Chevy by installing aluminum heads and intake. Big Block Camaros can handle just fine. A small block or LS has more advantage, but big blocks are more fun.
Andrew is correct. Big Red is not set up for autocross.

Hmm, 78 pounds savings from heads and intake....how much more does an aluminum block save? That's what I was looking at before I decided to build an LS.
