      I hate ebay

So today I created an ebay account to sell the Camaro twice, some how I didn't save all my stuff twice, I uploaded pictures all the car info twice and I still can't find a way to edit it or find my downloads, 2 hours on the computer Uhg!
I will put it up for sale here, but can anyone suggest other sites to sell on?

Not a fan of eBay either...craigslist is definitely a good choice, mainly just because people on there are local. (What I like about that is the past cars I've sold show up at some car shows and I get to see my old loves haha)

ebay is a waste of time and money, used to be killer now it sucks ! i agree, craigslist , here and some other forums, a lot of people search "all craigslist" and your car will pop up in other states, so a lot of people will see it !

You don't want to sell a high value item like a car on ebay until you have a number of sales transactions. Otherwise they will put a hold on your funds for usually an unspecified amount of time because you have no transaction history. The only way you can get paid is via PayPal and basically PayPal will earn interest on your funds until they decide to release them to you.

The Transaction Count is helpful for Buyers as they see that you have Sold Items without problems.

As far as getting paid, I only accept a $500 Down Payment via PayPal and the Balance has to be in Cashier's Check from a Top National Bank, a Wire Transfer or Cash.

I've sold 2 Cars via eBay with various results - Car #1, the Buyer bought it sight unseen and did not have a PPI Done ( not that was anything wrong with it), Flew in, looked at briefly, paid me, got in the car and drove across country through bad weather (more Miles than I had driven the car the previous year). Then he complained about minor stuff (1 item because he hit something on the drive home), I told him how to fix things ( Fuse/Relay, etc). His next communication was that he wanted money to fix things - I reminded him that he bought a 35 Year Old Car As-Is, Where-Is, that he didn't have it inspected and he drove it 1500 Miles in 2 Days, hit something and he Won a Auction. He left me Bad Feedback - the only Negative Feedback I've had in 14 Years on eBay. Car #2 was Great - Sight unseen transaction, car went to England. The Guy did want to Pay the Full Amount via PayPal which I said No to, as I wasn't going to take a 3% PayPal Hit in addition to the eBay Fees. He understood and Wired me the Money.

eBay is good for getting National or World-Wide Attention to your car. I Buy on Craiglist, but I don't Sell - I don't want Scammers & Crooks coming to my House!

The above is one of the reason's I won't sell on Craigslist either. I really don't need strangers coming over and seeing whats in my garage. So long as good pictures are taken (easier with parts than cars) there is no need to have people coming over to my home.

      I hate ebay

On craigslist I put as many pics as possible but If they still have to see the car no matter how well it has been explained then I always meet in a public place, i've met at train station parking lots, the local college, or the library.

I've sold small things on Craigslist too, I even sold my motorcycle on Craigslist. I told the people to meet me at Home Depot parking lot and what I was driving. Never had a problem yet. (knock on wood)
