      L92 with t56?

Will the vvt on the l92 cause any problems if I want to run a manual behind it? I decides to leave the auto and do a manual but can't find anything if it will work

I don't see what problem it could cause.

I got rid of the VVT on my L92 and basically turned it into a LS3.

I ran a basically stock L92 with a Mast Motorsports cam and harness for a couple of years in front of a T56 with zero issues. We stuck with the Variable Valve Timing and were very happy with it. We've since gone with a Mast 416 crate engine and are still using the variable valve timing. It seems that mast has the VVT deal well sorted out.

That's good to know the vvt on the engine was a concern to me I'll check both companies out and see if they have the 6l80 figured out as well that was a reason I was looking to just got t56 since it seems like no one has gotten the 6l80 to work

I am running the 6L80 in my 65 Buick Skylark. Actually there are quite a few 6L80s out there. By the way I am also running a L92 motor and kept the VVT. Also using the 2011 Corvette program in both the transmission and the motor.

What automatic does the 5th Gen. Camaro run? The automatic cars run VVT and the engines are designated L99's.

It runs the 6L80. The LS3 versions runs the M6. You can download that version and activate the VVT portion if you want to use VVT. With my L92/6L80 combo I had the 2011 Corvette program downloaded into each. Then I had the VVT part of the program activated as it is not used in the Corvettes.
