T56 Magnum Questions
I am trying to select a drive/powertrain package for my 69 Camaro build right now and using the search button sometimes can be your biggest enemy.
Here is what I have. '69 Camaro, ridetech Stage 2 Front and Rear Suspension, Ford 9" with 3.70 Gears and a 26.4" Tall Tire.
First question is which gear ratio tranny do I want? Wide or Close? The car will have 90% street and highway use, and a mix of 10% drag/road course time.
I am going to be doing an LS3 Stroker, somewhere in the 418-427 range and looking for 550 rwhp.

The close ratio will work fine.

I used some online RPM / MPH calculator and figured out the RPM at 70-75 for both versions and picked the street version.
