      FNG from Kansas

Hello all! I've been lurking for the last couple weeks and thought I'd go ahead and register and introduce myself. I live in Kansas City, KS and am the proud owner of a new to me 1972 Nova. This is the 3rd Nova I've owned since 16 and I'm planning on keeping this one around for awhile! I'm getting the car delivered next week so I don't have any pics of it yet. The car is fairly solid, needs floor pans and some minor rust repair behind the rear tires. The plans are to use a Vortec 350 that I have with a T350 trans for now. First order of business will be to get the pans installed and get it running. This will be a slow project because of course the budget is kinda tight. Thank you to all of the current members for sharing your builds!

Kansas City North here, actually Smithville... Welcome.

Can't wait to see pics of the car.

Our last SCCA Autocross of the season is Oct 27th and they have already released the course design. It is a very "ground pounder" friendly course and there should be several PT type of cars competing on that day. You should come out and check it out even if your car isn't ready by then.

Welcome to the forum. Try to post a few pics of the car when you get a chance.
