      Faceoff course

Anyone know what course will be used for the hot lap competition at Road America?

I would think it will be the shortened course (No front straight) with the kink removed on the back stretch so people dont run out of talent.

Brian, I've never been to this track so I didn't know if they had a shorter course that I could find some videos to watch to get some sort of layout.

Not sure there are many videos out there. Here is the configuration that was used the last two Faceoffs. If you can imagine, the "front straight" cuts through between turn 13 and turn 5 of the regular track. Also, the "kink" is eliminated by using the loop that was put in for super bike racing. It comes right after the carousel. Maybe check YouTube and see if anyone has loaded video from past Faceoff events.

Just looked. Search Lingenfelter L28 Faceoff in YouTube. The second video is some footage of Danny Popp from last year, although he goes over the rumble strips exiting the second to last turn and the camera points to the sky. You'll see most of it though.
