Splined front sway bar for sec gen camaro

Anyone running a splined front sway bar on sec gen camaro? Looking to see what will work with a stock sub frame. Going with a 275 front tire and could use a little more room for tire clearance

      Thanks

      Brandon,

I would like to make one for mine. My intention would be to possibly bend up the ends and have them heat treated and offer sets for sale.

TBH, I've never seen one and think it may be a custom thing.

Have you look ed at ridetech musclebars, they supposedly clear 10 in wheel on front of First Gen and dont talk about any sub mods, might have something that fits second gen to help fit larger wheels.

I have but that bar is not a splinned unit. Not sure if it offers more tire clearance or not

PTFB (a sponsor here) has 2 bars, one has more clearance, and one is adjustable and very well designed:

I have a late 2nd gen trans am bar in front, and the PTFB bar in the rear. The front bar with 1000 springs and the adjustable rear bar seem to be a great match for my car. My tire is limited inside by the bar and the inner fender. If you want you can massage the inner fender and get the high clearance bar from PTFB and probably stuff a 295 or so in there, I have a 275 and its as big as I can go.

Thanks for the info. I really want a splined bar. I can fit a 275 just going to rub the bar. I have a pair of 295's and would need to do a fender stretch to make those fit and would still have a issue with the sway bar.

275/40/17 17x9.5 with 5.5BS, 1000lb springs and a late 2nd gen TA bar, and Pro Shocks. No rubbing, and the only interference was with the inner fender bolts because of the caster.

      275's fit fine
