      DSE mini tubs+Ridetech 4-link

I have a 78 F-Body, and I have plans of mini tubing and adding a full ridetech suspension. Before I go out and spend all sorts of money I would like to know how this combo works together.
I've read that they do work together but I was wondering if it changes the geometry of the ridetech set up with the shock relocation and whatnot.
      Thanks in advance

I have the ride tech 4 link on my 79 camaro with a DSE mini tub. The kit works very well with the tubs and having a mini tub does not change any of the locations for the coil overs. I know that ride tech only offers the off-set bars now but make sure you tell them you will have a mini tub. I heard that they have a few of the old bar kits left over. The 4 link is a nice set up and easy to install with minor welding. You can also upgrade to a weld on bracket for the coil over for the rear end and not have the original leaf perch.

      Hope that helps

      Yep...what he said.

You can still bolt in our 4 link with minitubs, just like with the oem tubs...the cradle sits inboard of the inner surface of the framerails. Or you can weld it in if you are going to flog it with sticky tires...or if you just like welding better.

All the lower bars are offset at this point to clear the 335 tires. The only option is to go to the kelvar lined heim ends instead of the rubber or poly bushings. If you anticipate a LOT of track time with sticky tires this can be of some benefit. For the casual aggressive driver with normal street tires you can use either rod end.

The car will see about 50/50 street track. I have hopes of taking it to one lap of america, autocross, run to the... Events.

I have another question for you to about the tiger cage and fitting in a firebird. Do you just not list it for firebird for interior reasons or is it something else?

Firebird will use the same cage. We have not verified fitment for T Tops, though.
