Very nice. Did you have to do any massaging on the tranny tunnel for the T56?

      hey guys,
IMPALAMAN1-the coil packs are mounted down low on the frame rails, after this storm rolls through ill get some pics to show you how they are mounted,..
Rick Dorion-i had to massage alot of my tunnel unfortunatly because i raised the engine almost 2" off the frame so i could ride low with long tube headers, so i used a factory floor and stretched the floor braces and whole trans tunnel about 3 1/2" so i can have proper drive line angles and my driveshaft wouldnt rub the floor..so when you look at the flor it looks un modified but, it is

Wow, I love it. Please post more pictures when you get a chance. I'm obviously a big fan of a white 65' ;-)
Tell me a little about the difference you felt with the boxed lower arms and tubular upper arms... IS yours a 10 or 12 bolt rear? Do you have the 2 upper control arms or just one? (Both were available in 65) Also, what backspacing are you running with your 20x10 rears? Did you have to modify anything to get them to fit? What tire size on back and front?

Great setup! I just dropped an LS2/T56 in my 65 Impala. Are you using manifolds or headers? I would like to go with headers, however I haven't found any.

I have been doing research on the ls swap in my 65 impala and found that the Dynatech LS headers for a 67-69 camaro are the ones to use.
      Hope that helps!

1966 impala ss 12 bolt with dual upper control arms, and wheels are 20x10 rear with 295 40 20, and front are 20x8 245 40 20..and the wheels are boss 338 from ebay,..the wheels are cheap and actually balance out great.. and this car handles so great with all the suspension and wheel and tire combo.im thinking about possibly switching to coil overs all the way around.

Thanks for the info. The setup looks great! Do you happen to know the backspacing front and rear?

Gotcha... how about the difference you felt with the boxed lower arms and tubular upper arms? Big improvement? Any pics?
Are you running a rear sway bar?

I had a buddy in high school with the same car, was an awesome ride. I can only imagine how cool it would be with an LS in it!
