      93 Mustang Coupe w/ 2012 Boss Engine

Well... I've lurked here for a long time. I have a 68 Coupe (my high school car) begging to get worked on but in the meantime, I've been working on my 93 coupe (the car I "wanted" in high school) .

I've always though the fox body was sorta out of place in the pro-touring world but I've been seeing more and more of them here, so here we go I have a blog with a lot more pictures at www.93coupe.com

93 coupe w/33k original miles (not much original remaining though!)
Built a 2012 Boss 302 from scratch. Used GT intake to clear my stock hood
      Maximum Motorsports full suspension
      Boss 302 Recaro seats
TKO 500 (already have a magnum T56 that's going in though)
Old school Forgeline GT3 wheels. 18x9.5 and 18x10.5

I wanted the car to handle great on the street and be able to tackle some open track events.

Nice car. I wanted one just like that in HS but it had a whale tail spoiler on it. LOL

Wow, very nice! I've always liked Fox Mustangs, esp notchbacks. I fully approve, I betcha that thing hauls some serious notchback butt with that motor, and the seats are like the crowning touch...

Thanks guys. I'm seriously attached to this car now. Long story, but I sold it years back and regretted it before the guy was even off my street and was able to buy it back - makes it that much better.

      Pic I took tonight.

That was a great short story, hah. I would've been the same way, crying as it drove away.
Congrats on the retrieval of it, lucky dog.
      Great shot

Now that right there is pure unadulterated car porn. I absolutely love Fox body notchbacks. I have seen pics of your car before, but without any of the build background!!!

Are they custom mounts for that motor? What did you have to do to shoe horn it in?

Since he has MM suspension, I'm going to guess he used the MM crossmember... If I am wrong, this is at least one way to do it my79f

Nice ride!!! As soon as I finish my Camaro, my wife wants us to start on her 90 GT.
We will be watching your build closely. Good Luck with it.

The MM K-member is designed with modular motor mounts. The stock brake booster will not fit so I converted over to newer style hydro boost. That's all that is really "needed" to physically fit the engine.

Great looking car. I like those Forgelines and the Boss seats look great in there.
