      Shipping wheels

I traded my Trailblazer this weekend and I have a nice set of 20's with tires that I took off for the trade. I am going to list them locally, but live in a smaller CL market, so they will likely end up on ebay or the Trailvoy forum. Any tips regarding shipment for a set of wheels with tires. Carriers? Approximate cost?

I just bought a set of 5 Jeep wheels and tires off ebay and it was $120.00 truck freight anywhere in the US. Now I have to sell my old set and figured I'd ship em the same way.

Greyhound, freightquote, or FED EX Depending on origination , destination, and the ability of the buyer and seller to drop off and pick up. Last ones I shipped ended up going Fed Ex. If you check Fed Ex look up the shipment online then go to the local drop off spot and see if they'll give ya a better deal. With tires on I just cut circles out of cardboard and tape them on well rather than boxing.

Thanks, that is helpful. I wanted to budget for shipping. They are heavier than most wheels I have moved around, so I will pad my budget. They also still have the tires on them too.

      Shipping wheels

I just paid $150 for 2x 19" wheels boxed seperately-no tires- thru Fedex from E to W coast with insurance...which i thought was rather high...i think freight would be much cheaper but take longer!

I am likely going to specify that they will be shipped freight and if the buyer wants them faster, then I will let them pay for actual shipping costs.

I paid $24 for a 20x10 Foose wheel and tire to ship from Detroit to Atl, no box via FedEx Ground. I took the air out, then put a cardboard circle over the face of the wheel and shrink wrapped it. It shouldn't cost more than $125 to ship a set of wheels ground.

I have Driv Moonshine 20's with newer Cooper tires in a 275 20 size. Fitment for Trailblazers, Envoys, etc. They are chrome and in good used condition. I can text pics if you PM me your number.
