      DIY Lambo

Don't know if any of you younger guys are on TheChive, but I saw this posted this morning and had to pass it along. The builds always impress me

Skills are impressive...but one of the posters is right...those aren't out of reach to buy these days....I'd have restored a real one. The effort it took to scratch build a replica....well, I'd build something not so obtainable..like a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.....now that'd be something!

This car sold for 16 million dollars......and it'd really take no more effort than the Lambo to build...if he's got those skills!

The compound curves of the metal on the Ferrari would be MUCH harder than the flat panels of the Lamborghini. Pretty freakin amazing IMO! Dude has skills!! Maybe he is a TV repairman or something?!?

My love for the Lamborghini is just short of what this guy has accomplished, as my wife would kill me if I tried to build my car in the basement (although she has no idea that most of my car IS in the basement, in plain sight, just not so obvious for her to identify any of it!)!

and he's got the ultimate set of tools.

I agree, I can think of 5 other cars he could put his skills towards, but looking at the pictures on surrounding walls it looks like a familly favorite.

This car has been around for a few years now. The story is amazing. And the guy's craftsmanship really is on par with what lamborghini was putting out at the time as far as metal crafting goes. It's truly a work of art.

There are several videos on youtube about this car and the man that built it. click here
It sounds amazing, especailly the way the headers merge to form a really cool sound, when revved up it does not sound like your typical big inch ford. It sounds like an indy car.

      Some in car footage here
