      67 lime gold modeling

      Dose any one have experiance with this color in ppg dbc system? I have tryed the usual tricks , air pressure,speed fluid,distance,overlap crosshatching and dropcoats, still ends up looking splotchy at certian angles. Any sugestions

      I would suggest use the slowest drying thinner you can gwt away with. If your not using a hvlp gun to apply the base get one and try it that base has to go on wet the longer it takes to dry the more time the metallics have to lay flat if they dont lay flat they will look modeled. You can tack rag the first coat but not the rest. when your on the side of the car try and go from the front fender to the back quater in one pass dont stop at the door hope this helps
