I like my C6 hubs and the no maintenence along with the brake packages that are available. They wear out, I'll just replace them. Sounds to me like some guys living in the stone ages. Who are you talking to, Gaetano? ha

I have been working with Bret to come up wth a steering arm that will allow the Truturn to work with the AFX spindle. it is on the list of things to do but we are so slammed i can not give a possible compleation date. we will get to it.

In that case, I don't see it as an issue. I'm just going to use the Kore 3 bracket.

I have ATS tall spindles with C5 brakes, so they won't work with the ridetech spindles.

It would be nice if just a set of brackets would allow me to use my current brakes. Even so, the ATS spindles don't get the full benefit of the geometry revisions.

Well, I just got my ridetech Spindles and I'll find out tomorrow if the brakes work with them.

And per Bret's post, I'm going with a smaller coil spacer, as to throw the geometry off less. Like I said, I'll be getting their coilovers soon, so it's just a "for now" thing. I still think I'll see a large improvement.

Oh crap... I just read the instructions, they're modeled after DISC brake spindles, not drum brake spindles. This might be a little more challenging than I thought.

I thought the actual mounting holes were different between them. So it's only set back some?

the holes are in the same location just the disc brake upper boss is shorter we used to cut the bosses short and chase the threads because no one made disc brake spindles years ago

awww ha, if you measure the boss its its .610-.625 your right!! if you measure straight from the lower mounting hole its 460 to .480", and from the shoulder its about 3/4, I could be WAY off just from memory and that's slipping. I guess i should have specified were to measure from.... I would just mount the caliper bracket on the lower holes swivel it upwards to the side of the boss and mark the top boss on were to cut.....always keeping me honest Quick

It was about .625 off, and with a makeshift shim, I got it to line up perfectly.

I cannot believe how smoothly everything assembled. It took maybe an hour with me taking my time. I'm going to get some real spacers on Tuesday, all the hardware and good Auto parts places are closed today and tomorrow.

are those hotchkis drop springs? I'm wondering how it will sit with the drop spring and the tall spindle. Keep us posted.

Since I'm running 9.5" wheels, it will absolutely not clear, and I know this. I ordered a GlobalWest .75" tall coil spacer which I'll install tomorrow.

Actually, I'm bored, I might go see what it looks like without them.

It actually cleared at that height, I was surprised.

I don't much care for the super low look, plus I wouldn't be able to get up my driveway with it that low. My phone isn't being user friendly, I'll have pics shortly.
