Just another garage built Custom Trunk Project

This is a project I have been trying to get to for the last couple years. Finished it in one weekend.

      the carpeting
      http://www.yourautotrim.com/80wideozite.html

the adhesive (same stuff I used in the door panels too)
      http://www.yourautotrim.com/perhittrimad.html

the panels are made from 1/8" ABS plastic

Started with a very clean stock trunk, so the only prep work was cutting out the stock jack attachments

Then I made some templates for the front, back and side panels

Then I cut and fit and trimmed the ABS panels

Then I added cut pile carpet that is made with no backing on it. It made it super easy to conform to all of the contours. It was glued right to the trunk floor.

Nice work Scott! The 1/8" ABS is going to be much lighter than our MDF build...

All of the panels actually hold each other in and then the last one is held in with Velcro
