'05 lq4...do I ask for the harness and computer?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a low mile lq4. for a couple hundred more I can have the computer and complete harness.

do most guys wind up with a highly modded or "aftermarket" harness and computer, or is it worth the extra $$ for the stock parts?

Depends on how you want the wiring to look. The stock harness lengths if you switch to a car style intake aren't great and you will have to mount the fusebox/computer in a stock type location like the fender well.

Get the computer if at all possible, but call someone like Daytonayallaz or another harness vendor to save yourself a lot of time and have a cleaner install.

If the harness is in good shape pick it up. I expect most use the stock components by modifying the original harness to engine only.

That's my plan. Besides, worst case you can sell it for what it cost you.

      good info.
I did speak with Travis previously about one of his harnesses and that's likely the way I will need to go to button up the project.

is EFIlive a good program for tweaking the ECM?

Do you have a price list or what is the best way to get something speced out?
      Thanks
