      what are these seats worth?

I have decided not to use these seats. simply because i want a low back seat. these are convertible bmw seats with the seat belts installed.
Does anyone know what the general price is for seats like these are? the are full sport seats all power with heat. no tears ,everything works. mint seats
      Thanks
      phillip.

I've similar sets sell for anywhere between $350 and $700.

Black is more desirable. Lots of home builders of pre 66 junk like them because its an easy way to get a 3 point belt without having to trust your life with you amateur welding abilities!

That being said, if you're near TN, I'd consider buying them depending on what you want for them.

Yeah shipping would pretty much kill it for me. There is a guy that sells those seats on ebay that has a bimmer junkyard. he generally prices his for $800 plus the ride ( the ride looks to average at $250. )

And they better be correctly mounted (and I doubt many are) or if you have an accident you will be safely belted into a seat that has pulled out of the floor and you're bouncing around inside the car

Yeah, In my case I did a bunch of work on reinforcing the floor and minimizing sheer points optimally, then starting making calls and hitting auto recyclers to take measurements on what will fit.

My options boil down to those bimmer seats or the scat procar rally seats and schroth harnesses. The bimmer option comes in around $500 cheaper for leather instead of vinyl, so I'm still keeping my eye out for a set semi-locally.

If you do an ebay search for BMW seats you get pages and pages of results.
