Im running 8" wheels on all four corners on my 66 coupe. Im using Vintage Wheel Works V60 17x8's. I have no steering or suspension movement issues. The important thing is to get the proper offset and backspacing for your application. Here is a link to what Im using:

Of course I have a complete Total Control Products suspension system installed, so that might give me some room that the stock suspension wouldnt.

Thanks for the kind words, Ty. Yes, the car is MAJOR money. This is the car they built at Popular HotRodding a few years back. It was called the 66 street fighter project. Vintage Wheel Works V60 wheels. 17 x 8's with standard 4.5" back spacing. They built this car for road racing, track days, and autocross, so it has the entire Total Control Products chassis and suspension package! It even has 13" Wilwood rotors on all four corners with 6 piston calipers on the front with 4 pistons on the back! Very trick ride from stem to stern and top to bottom . . . not to mention she's faster than just about anything!

Yes, it is. Bought it from a guy she sold it to. Haven't decided what to do with the roll cage, yet. It was built with a much smaller driver in mind. I bump my head against the top bar on hard right hand turns. I may remove it and just keep the rear part of the cage as a harness bar.
