Updates? Not much labor being performed on the car at the moment due to the chassis guy working on higher paying customers that are ahead of me anyway. The rear is still out and uncut.

I do have some updates on parts. I went up to Jon's and picked up my front New Gens. 18X9 w/ 275/35's. Craig Morrison also posted up a Wilwood big brake kit on here in the sale ads and I picked that up.

For the front wheels, I am more than likely going to have to make small pie cuts at the front of the wheel opening for tire clearance but they'll be fine at the frame. I knew of the fender issue before ordering. I'll get those 13" brakes on at that time. My front Wilwood Dynalites are going to be spares for the rear due to those being a Dynalite kit as well until I can get the D154 rear kit. I'll post up a mock up photo of my fronts and new brakes when they arrive.

I don't know who's that is. The shop that the car is at is San Diego Superchargers but they do a lot of 4X4 stuff. This particular truck has a rear suspension a lot like the 'Cuda's but instead of a tri-angulated 4 link it's like a quadrangulated 8 link. The thing is nuts.

Thanks for the updates. While in high school my boss had a 71 and a 72 cuda as well as a 70 Charger. I love the mopars and even had a couple Chargers myself. Can't wait to see this beast remade.

Not much building at the moment. The shop is pushing a couple of cars ahead of mine. I'm cool with it. Gives me time to build my budget up(if I stop buying more parts) and possibly have them sort my exhaust. I welded the flowmasters and pipes up, it works, but it's not pretty and it's low.

Looking for something to do with these airplane wing tip lights. I was thinking of putting them on the front valance with some neat, high-speed, fasteners. I'll have to do some re-engineering but I think I can get them to work with a simple LED style 1157 bulb.

Anyone have experience with this? What would be the best epoxy? Maybe solder or something?

Here is an auction for more, red/green/clear, on Ebay. They are Grimes lights if anyone else would like to throw some WWII vintage light on their car.

No, Not bitten the dust. I actually have a lot to do and a lot of parts to throw at it but I live in a location where I can't work on it at home. I can't tear into the front with the probability of having the car remain on stands more than a day or two either. I've got it running well and it gets driven but I need an extended period of time where I don't need it for daily driving. a long weekend will be a good time to put the 6 piston Wilwoods on. Maybe I can convince my buddy to put in my AAW complete wiring kit while I'm doing the brakes. That will minimize downtime.

I'm going to put in the front side marker lights and the Spoilers by Randy front spoiler today. I have to go back to the Soft 8's up front because of a clearance issue that's going to be resolved soon.

I'm not big into giving updates and stuff because this project goes so slow. My time and wallet are stretched but I prepared for this time by stockpiling plenty of parts. I have also been doing some of the "restoration" side: cleaning, refurbishing of OEM components. I don't see the point in updating Pro-touring.com when I replace my door lock cylinders.

The stockpiled parts are 80% restoration items and 15% is modification items. That's if you're looking at it as a resto-mod thing. I call it a daily driver and I'm replacing broke stuff on my car.
