      from a ridetech email:

Our last show the year, GoodGuys Del Mar, ended yesterday with a big win from ridetech. Our very own 48 Hour Camaro driven by Brett Voelkel finished first place in the vendor autocross. Additionally, Mary Pozzi won the street machine class with her Camaro using our Triple Adjustable coilovers, and Rob Mckeown took first place in the truck class with our coilovers. It was a great event this year… tons of people made it out to the show, many of which were at the autocross. We’re quite happy with the results, and we hope to see you guys out at the shows next year.

The '67 Ford F-100 ran a 51.1 second final lap to beat the expertly driven Hotchkis C-10 of Mike Hickman, who set quick time earlier in the day with a 51.4 sec. lap. The Ford didn't look that fast going around the track, but the brake dust burning as it dove into the hairpin was pretty cool!

Congratulations all! It was a great weekend and the course was much better than the small peanut. Everyone had a lot of fun and everyone’s vehicle held up really well!

Yes, same truck and very nimble through the cones. He did a great job last weekend. I think he's made some improvements between last year and this year ...

yep...I was beat soundly by at least a couple of trucks. At least the winner had our shocks!

Del Mar was probably the slickest track I had ever run on that wasn't wet. I looked like break dancing swine out there!

Yes, but you did win the vendor class

My time isn't up there, thank god. I don't need everyone knowing how much slower I was than Renner and his peg leg low rider, haha.

The black Ford truck comes out of John Meadows Deuces Wild shop in Oxnard, Ca . Scott Call was driving. It has a [gasp] Fatmans frontend and a custom 3 link rear with the ridetech single adjustable coilovers all around. He has a new set of the Triple adjustable units sitting beside the truck right now...with all winter to play with them Tiny shop, but rabid to make this thing fast.

That is one nice truck and if my experience with the triple-adjustables are any indication, he's gonna fly with that truck next year once he gets 'em on and sorted. Those shocks are incredible ...

I beleive 200 to qualify for a win. No minimum to actually drive you car on the course though.

We all know I cheat with my 300 treadwear 225/35/19's Mini Cooper tires on front--they cut down the rolling resistance--or something like that. It was all Big Wanda's idea anyways.

So Matt, you missed the Big Wanda crowd again---it was more entertaining this time than last. Chad Reynolds read the sign to the crowd for one, then I had a doctor (from India I believe) hand me his card while I was sitting in Blu Ballz getting ready to go back out onto the autocross with Cris G and this guy says "Here's my card, call me--I want to negotiate with you about your car". The price on the sign is $8,500 if you remember. I couldn't stop laughing. Told him to call the number first and see if Big Wanda would negotiate. LOL. I think there must have been, at peak, a good 400 people crowded around that fence line--maybe more. It was amazing to actually see it. Made it crazy fun. Missed having you out there though---your car looks so wicked with those new wheels on it---and I didn't think your car could look any better---looks hyper agressive with that combo on it. I think Dave Pozzi did like a 7500 clutch drop with it--you may want to take it for a test drive to see if it's making a ticking noise around the oil pan area. LOL.

Bring it to Cars and Coffee this Sat---I'm going to take the lowrider/pizza cutter/one legged jihad burner out there.

That is great. Tell Big Wanda that I'll shell out $100 more than the Doctor's best offer, up to $7500. As for David, it looks like he figured out how to drive my casual Sunday cruiser. If you don't give it revs, it will just bog off the line. The ticking is normal. The engine has a special internal timer to keep track of lap times...

I'll dust the car off and drive it up to Irvine. Looking forward to meeting up. Is anyone else up for an early Saturday morning?
