      Thanks to Bill Howell

I dont post on here too much but over the past week ive recived 2 contingency checks from when I attended RTTS. The race was an absolute blast I cant wait to get back. I never expected to get any contingency money either, was shocked to see the first one from wilwood for a $100 now another today from bfg for $170. I probobly wasnt even in the top 10 fastest cars and now its almost like i went racing for free, hard to belive so thanks Bill cant wait till next year.

Yes, definitely thank Bill Howell for putting on the events. For sure.

But your thanks for that contingency money should be directed at those sponsors -- Wilwood and BFG -- they are the ones who signed the checks and paid you.

      Congrats on the strong performance!

10-4.. same thing happened to me... I got a check from MuscleRides on behalf of Detroit Speed. Anyway, congrats. You must have performed very well to get some $$!

Now, how about some pics of that car that performed so well?

Qa1 coil overs and 2'' drop spindles stock sway bar on the front, adjustable wolfe racecraft rear 4 link bars I made my own holes and relocated the lowers to get the angle correct, lowering spring on the rear dont remember the manufacture with a hotchkis 1 5/16 sway bar mounted to the frame instead of the 4 link bars. Handles great for being mostly stock

RTTS was a bad event for me, but the contingency checks definitley help to keep me going for next year. Hell they kind of paid for all the new parts on my new project. Thanks Bill, Baer, and BFG its like mana from heaven.

1969Chevelle540 – That’s great to hear that it works as well as we designed it to work. We can only assume that GM didn’t use this great design because the stock design is so simple and cost effective.

Just think! those people who say stickers won't make your car go faster never got contingincy checks. But you have to spend that money on parts to go faster or they are right.

Like others have said, don't thank me, thank the great group of sponsors that have made the contingency program such a hit. It truely is like picking up money off the ground. You only compete with others running the same parts so you don't have to score in the top 3 or 10 even.
Thanks for participating in the events, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
