      Inside West Coast Customs

Did anyone see the episode of Inside West Coast Customs last night? They did a '58 Corvette for the Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am. It reminded me of the Roadster Shop's '62 Corvette.

yeah I saw it. It looks sick and fresh. I was half paying attention. Did they air brush it to look like the sides were indented rather than mold fiberglass to get that look? I Have it DVR'ed and am meaning to go back and look at that. When I watched it I started halfway in and then half watched the whole show later.

Yeah they did. They brought in someone to airbrush it. They wanted it to give the illusion of the sides being more concave. I was a lil disappointed because they didn't show much of the interior. I recorded it and plan on watching it again.

They've built a lot of cars over the years from the original Pimp My Ride to Street Customs and now Inside West Coast Customs. This has to be their best build. I was really impressed with the custom front end that they molded out of fiberglass. Top notch.

If someone gave that to me, I'd have to sell it.
I'm already NOT a fan of early vette's at all, but that just doesn't do it for me either

The only thing I liked is the iPad in the dash to be honest.

After watching it again, I think they should have made the concave deeper.

The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the removable white wall on the wheels and the interior. I thought everything else was pretty cool. They went with the LS3 swap and Mastershift push button shifter. So a lot of things I planned on putting in my project they used. I haven't been able to find much about the Mastershift product so I was glad to be able to see someone else using.

      Not my style.
They have improved allot in the fit and finish of their cars. They had that customized maroon 67 chevelle at SEMA several years ago, and it shined like a rug.

I've never seen one of their cars in person so I wouldn't know what the quality looks like in person. Is that the Chevelle with the different front end? I need to go to SEMA one day.

That is an absolute insult to the Roadster Shop. No comparison.
