      Unlimited Racing Championship NuArt CanAm

I'm watching the Petit Le Mans today , and there is and advertisement for this !

      http://www.unlimitedracingchampionship.com/home.htm

It's a new car that has been designed like a vintage CanAm Series car but with new design , materials , and upgrades !!
And here's the best part !!
They are gonna run a series of eight races next year ( 2 races each , at 4 events ) in conjunction with American Le Mans series events ..
It'll be like the Can Am all over again !

The cars are a lot like a McClaren M8F with a 700+ hp bigblock Chevy engine .
I'm definitely going to see this .

Scott, maybe we can go halfsies on a car! Then we can run it at the PT.com track in Florida that we're all going to buy!

Sure seems like an LS platform would make things a bit more accessible.

I think the arena these cars are going to play in, an LS engine wouldn't change the price much. Besides, there's nothing like a Can-Am style injected big block at full song!

Yep , the $485,000 price tag to get a car (to play with ) may keep the car count low ...
      Here's hoping ....

      Where's David Pozzi ??
I figured he'd chime in in this ..

I put an inquiry in about contingency and sponsorship support. We will see what they say.

$485k is a lot of coin to drop without more information about the series itself. There is also no mention of spares packages or specifics about support.

That gets my heart pumping! I used to go to the Can Am races and saw all the McLarens, Shadows, Lolas, Ferrari's! Totally wicked and the sound is so close to what I remember!

I just don't think they can get by the sound police at Laguna Seca these days...

Nothing like an all aluminum Big Block Chevy in a road racer!
