      NewGen: NEW Wheel! 2pc Trigger

      Hi guys,

We debuted our Performance Series Trigger in 3pc not too long ago, and we got so many requests to cut them in a two piece, we just had to do it. Here are two of the first sets to ship, one with a matte black center, and one with a brushed and cleared center.

This wheel will price according to our Street Series line, so starting at: $425ea wheel.

And here you can see our weld, the polish on the back of the hoop, and the lightening pockets in the pad area:

And here is a rear 18x9 mocked up on a car here at the shop:

17" - 22" Diameters, and typical two piece widths for each diameter.

      17x7, 8, 10, custom
      18x7, 8, 9, 10, custom
      19x8, 10, custom
      20x8.5, 10, custom
      22x8.5, 10, custom

All our wheels are custom built, so backspace is down to the .125", as well as bolt pattern, and center bore.

Believe what? I knew they would look good, they look even better without the step lip. This wheel is on my short list. Not sure if I'd go black or brushed though.

Lol..the pic you posted in the other thread had a step lip. Step lips went out with the 90's. Haha

What do you think about ALL black? Too much? I know the details get lost in all black wheels but they do look mean.

oooh.. shoot i didnt even look at the lip in the gold center photo.

      I meant the center's styling.

i dont know about ALL black.. but black and brushed would look sickboy.

Just for informational purposes, people should know that our performance series 3 piece is available step lip AND soft lip, so what you see isn't the only way it's made.

All our two piece wheels, are soft lip only.

FYI, step lip has made a huge comeback over the past two years... But to each their own.

I thought step lip wheels allow more brake clearance with a smaller wheel? Isnt that why road racers always used step lip wheels? Smaller lighter wheel with the ability to run a larger brake?

Step lip wheels do have more inside diameter clearance on the back half of the hoop as the drop center (or hump where the valve stem is drilled typically) is shaped completely different than a soft lip wheel. And yes, the diameter of the center will be a full inch smaller than the center in a soft lip wheel.

Both styles are really popular these days. On the right car, step lip completes the look, and on the right car soft lip is a must, its a matter of personal taste, and what fits the car.

That IROC is sick. Miss mine sooo much but when you're 19 a 700R4 costs a lot of money when you grenade it. I say bring the 90's back, White centers and brushed step lips. Get yourself some retro Oakley sunglasses, stone washed 501's and take the t-tops off, baby! YEEEAAH!
