20X12" will they fit my 62 Impala?

Can I fit 20 x 12 wheels from a newer ZO6 vette in the rear of my 1962 Impala without mods? I think 12" is too wide, all I've seen is 20 x 10 or 22 x 9.5 used on my Impala. I can get a great deal on these 3pc wheels off of the ZO6 but will they fit. HELP!

No way! I have been told 20x10 with 5.5 bs fits but its tight. I have 20x9 4.5 bs on my 64 impala and it fits perfect. 275/35 tires. You want room for clearence so you have options on tire sizing as well as you dont want issues with your tires rubbing on the inner/outer fenderwell durring hard turning. My 2 cents. Let me know if you have any questions. I have a wheel rite fitment tool i bought from summit if you are interested. Pm me

you cant mini tub 58-64 impalas. the frame is right against the inner wheel well. you would have to move the framerails inboard to do a mini tub. just run a 20x9 with a 275/35 tire. it looks amazing.

Sure you can, just buy a max g chassis for it, cut out the old floor and firewall. And make a completely new floor! I forgot the frames on the impalas are weird so you cant really cut and move the frame rails in. My bad..

10's are the widest that will fit the stock tub, with a 285 wide tire( or 11-11.5" tire). Backspace and overall diameter is key.

My old 62 with 20x10s, and then later with 22x10s:
