Thanks Brett. I've been anxiously awaiting this bar as I really wanted to get it on the car for this Saturday.

EDIT: Conflicting reports from vendor and supplier but sounds like people are trying to make this happen.

If I get the bar by tomorrow I will do a thrash install to hit the track Saturday. If you have nothing better to do Friday night (yea right) then I'd love to take you up on it. :p

Keep me posted when you get the goods.

Wanted to make sure everyone knows that I put the tow hook to use today----wishing that wasn't the case---but I have either a bad torque coverter or possibly the motor is going away----anyways, the tow hook worked perfectly---all the way up the back of the flatbad truck, and 133 miles from the track back to my place.

Rode shotgun with Chad, he scared me---he rode with me --I paid him back by spinning out--he's has footage.

Boats! Unless of course you do a lot of track events and autocrosses! The wife knows about a trailer purchase in the future. :

Bummer! But I am interested in a tow hook, which will probably be show than use, but it may get used going to the shop and back on the trailer.

Based on what I've seen here, Brett- you know more about what I want than I do. It has to be functional, of course. Removable would also be nice. If you design it to fit '64-'67 models, it'd have a lot more appeal and sales potential. The bumper bolts are pretty easy to access, so that seems like the logical mounting point in front. My wagon (and el Caminos) are different in the rear, so I'm not worried about that yet. If you come up with something, I'd be interested in it. There are simply no good (fab-free) options right now. You have taste and skill...do what you do!

      Brett,

My buddy is building a Chevelle right now. The car is in san diego and I dont think they are able to transport it. But it would be cool if you wanted to work on it. I could get you pictures and dimensions. Unless you wanna make a trip down here.

How about a falcon, you might sell................... 2! HAHAHAHA.

So for all you So Cal members that have a Chevelle or a Monte Carlo, I need your help if you want a free tow hook. I need to use your car for test fitting. I will make you a custom tow hook so I can make Scott and Douglas a tow hook. Yes... each one will be different in it's own way.

They're a great shop. Very reputable in the local Porsche community here. They did the alignment on my old 996TT. Do great roll cage fab too.
