18" wheels with old school race car styling

[Throttle]

For your consideration:
NewGen Lite in 2 piece 18"
One of the sexiest wheels I have seen.

Another member in the site machines some cool cover plates for the TT2 wheels, I think the business was something like RadCaps or similar, he has a red vintage Firebird IIRC.
Found it:

I like these, I might nee to put these on my Track Car..

I wish those vintage wheel works came in 18x11 I'm liking the v40's might be going with those myself for my lemans.

It can be done by adding width to the backside but before you even consider that you need to determine the backspace before you order the wheels because we are adding width on one side only thus creating more postive backspace which could kill the project. Let me know if you need help doing this because it is a lttle tricky...

18x8 front, 18x9 rear Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dog 2-piece aluminum wheels, powder-coated in flat black. Toyo Proxes 225/40-18 front and 275/35-18 rear.

Who says you need a polished lip? : )

These wheels are the originals and what I plan to run on my 68Camaro

Hoping to be in the hunt for some oldschool cool for mine sooner than later, and I definitely want to start doing my homework.

With any luck...

I was also looking for something old school, but with a modern flare to it for my 68 Acadian (Nova). I ended up going with the New Gen Splitters with a brushed center and polished lip.

Saw this at the bottom of a catalog - I think they're PS Engineering versions of the old mini-lites. I like the gray on gray look - considering it for my 70 Shadow Gray Chevelle (decisions, decisions...)

More pics of Phil's Minilite reps. I was going to buy them and even went to visit his shop and see them in person. In the end, they didn't provide the brake clearance the Team III's do.

I'm using Team III's new 18"minilites..18x 10 and 18x12

[High Plains Mopars]

You can still get the original Minilites, but only in 15" sizes. However, they are only around $1200-1500 for a set.

Thanks! Glad you like! We're making these out of a 6061 forged center too, not a cast center so we have the luxury of machining the centers to fit ANY brake combo, any offset, and center bore. So 6 piston Baer? Sure, bring it on....

You can't fatham the amount of people who wish VWW would just make the V48 in a damnn 18x11!
