I'm just about ready. Washed the Chevelle today, trial fit the new spoiler (added some war paint in the process!), got my trailer ready to go (you driving or trailer?), and made a pair of mounts for the tie downs to hook to (which I still need to mount to the rear frame rails!).

Have they release the calender for the 2011 ECTA schedule @ Maxton yet?
Thanks! Not sure about the new schedule. They may have it available next weekend, I'll try to remember to check.

I finally got around to taking the RR spoiler to the powder coat shop on Monday and it's on the car with some color. The vertical portion I tried to match up to the gunmetal on the other parts and the splitter is matte black. You may notice the splitter is smaller than when I first got it. The problem was I kept kicking it and tripping over it in my garage. Besides, I didn't like how far it stuck out on the ends, so I ended up trimming it down some.

Here is a picture of the begining of mine it is mounted to the grill support connected to the core support and will have a frame behind it to stiffen the whole thing up. My radiator is rear mounted so there isnt a need for airflow.
Sorry about not getting a better pic of the flange, I completely forgot about it! It's fairly simple, there's a flat piece that bolts to the bottom of the bumper and then a vertical piece was welded to it. Then threadserts were put in the veritical part for the spoiler to bolt to. The spoiler also wraps around the back about an inch on both sides.

      Hey Herb,

The new wheel and tire combination look awesome!! The new GA3 wheels are popping up on a LOT of rides... I plan to use them on my car as well! The Forgeline ZX3R are kinda dated since they've been around so long... These REALLY look great.

I think you, Bryce, and Mary made a great choice for our "mandated" 200-rated tires for the p-t events... I sure wish they would step up and make a 335-wide tire in an 18". Unfortunately, right now they stop at a 315-wide.

Great looking wheels Herb, congrats on the new set of Forgelines. I have aquired a 66 SS427 marina blue Chevelle in a trade. While it is all stock, I may have to at least put a set of wheels on it. I just love this body style, so who knows, may have to keep it a while.

They are really cool, love the long studs hanging out against the dark center, just looks super racey.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive feedback!

Bill - you know you're going to have to keep the '66 and join the Chevelle fraternity!

Ray - I had a hard time finding 200 treadwear tires with the front & rear sizes I wanted. I think what I ended up with will work well.

Tom - Yes, we are now a two set family.

Ron - I almost went with the center lock deal Frank posted about then decided I didn't want to cut down 20 studs to make it work.

Perfect choice on the wheels! Looks Awesome!... You may want to consider putting that warpaint back on the spoiler, this thing is ready for battle!
