looking for 3rd gen nova on zo6 c6 wheels

I am really thinking about running something like the zo6 wheels I would like to run a 18x9.5 or 10.5 in the rear and proably like a 18 or 17x9.5 in the front. I would like to see some pictures of some guys running them on a 3rd gen nova.

Do you plan on an aftermarket front end?

It is do-able, but just barely. I have been playing around with this exact thing on mine. Depending on your spindle-steering-arm (there are different ones) you may contact the tie rod end, my 17x9 with 4.5"BS came very close. You will need a spacer for the front (around 2"), and possibly modify/new upper arms. With something like a 275/40 you should only rub a little with the proper allignment and fender massaging.

The back is a different story. I was able to sqeeeeeze a 285 on a 9.5" rim in the back of mine, although I had to push the fenders out with a bottle jack, and it still bound on the inner tub going into driveways at an angle. With a slight micro/mini tub, you should be able to fit it with the proper sized spacer.

eidt: saw in your sig you have already tubbed it.

I don't know how you're going to fit 275s up front unless the top of the tire is going to be below the wheel well lip, i've got 245's on a 8.5" wheel with 5.5" of backspacing, if i had gone less i would rub the fender, and i do actually touch the frame ever so slightly at full lock.

My thoughts exactly, the ZR1's look a little bulky in the 17" version, but these, or any other vette wheel in a 18" looks good, i have seen more pics of 3rd gens on late model wheels, i just cant find them

In that picture you posted. Do you know if those are 17's, or 18's?

Very nice. The few sets I've seen locally state they are staggered sized, front/rear. Are there years and/or models that had the same sized rims? Or did you piece together your set? I'd like to run either 17 or 18's but have the same size front and rear.

Both cars are running 245's up front and 275's in the rear, just 17's vs 18's

those on the blue nova are c4's (see here).

those wheels on the grey nova look like c5's. c6's are straighter, more polygonal.
