LS motor mounts for a '67 Firebird

      Hey guys,

Anybody know which mounts I should go with to get the LS mounted in my stock subframe under my Firebird?
The stock mounts set the mounting points back off the subframe so I'm not sure how to get the chevy style to work.

Someone that's been there give me advice?

      Thanks

I'm guessing you'd have to use the chevy frame mounts along with the LSx conversion motor plates. Just a guess- as the subframes are pretty much the same camaro/firebird.

I'm guessing you mean the chevy mounts and not the LS mounts, right?
Either way, I have a spare firebird set, I'll swap with you.

Scott is right....You need Chevy frame stands. There are 4 different types for the first gen camaro.

2 Styles of Big block....you dont want these!
      Small Block....67, 68 327 and 350 69, 307, 327
      Small Block...69 Z28, SS350

I like and am using in my 67 camaro, the 69 Z28, SS 350 style. It is a interlocking motor mount, and hence thicker, which makes the frame stands shorter ( not as tall) You just have to be sure to get the correct "Motor Mounts" for the style of frame stands you use! When you look at the energy suspension mounts in a jegs or summit catalog you will see what I mean. Get this right or you will be bummed later when setting the motor in. Hope this helps you and is not confusing.

Thanks man but I think I'm good.
I ended buying a set from Travis (daytonayellaz) when I picked up my engine/tranny combo from him. And then ordered the ATS adapter plates from Speedtech.
If you're interested in my firebird set let me know.
