I had it for about a month before the 66 was sold. I needed it like a hole in the head but I could not pass up a deal on a original paint 95% rust free car.

Looks sweet. I'm a big fan of the 66 Vista Cruiser. If I even floated the idea of getting one, I think the wife would spontaneously combust!

I seriously can't wait to see what you do with this. If it is anything like your other car it will be sick. Did I mention I love wagons?

Here's a few of my '65 442. Future plans call for ditching the draglites in favor of minitubbing and some 17" or 18" forged wheels.

And a really old pic when I first got her on the road (not even wetsanded yet!)

Wiat a minute now. Is that a real Olds engine that is EFI and twin supercharged? You really need to start a build up thread on this car. The stance is prefect. You just need a better set of wheels and tires.

I remember your car from ROP a few years back. Never understood the reason for dual S/C but it does look kick ass. I like it with the Welds too but my first love is street / strip cars.

Gotta go do a photoshoot with pops ride...

He isn't so handy with a camera... I am currently making him custom center caps with an olds logo for the Pontiac rallye's.

Only other pic I have right now.... Mild restoration back in the mid 80's. I helped him rebuild the front end last Christmas. He will be ordering a Lee steering box for it soon. Going to stay mostly stock though. Needs a new exhaust and the interior needs to be redone, but it is a low mileage creampuff.

Great looking cars everyone. I was sorry to see your car go Richard. Seeing your car and Chili442's '68 on this site got me to join. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Cruiser. My Cutlass is in a holding pattern right now while I'm making payments on the new Challenger I just couldn't live without. It's driveable and gets used quite a bit in the Summer, just won't be getting the Winter upgrades for awhile.
      It's a '66 with a '67 front clip.
      Grey epoxy primer.
New windshield, windshield trim, hood hinges and springs, and new (to me) flat black hood with pins due to dumbass attack last Summer. Damn single catch hood latches.
Stock 350 Olds and Turbo 350 from a '75 Cutlass.
      SPC upper and lower arms.
      Single adjustable Varishocks.
      Lee 670 steering box.
      ATS AFX spindles.
      C5/C6 Kore3 brakes.
      17x8 & 17x10 Raceline GT wheels. 245/45/17 & 285/40/17 Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires.
Stock rearend and arms for now.
      LED taillights.
Set of Autometer Ultra Light gauges (been in the spare bedroom for almost 3 years). Always keep finding something else on the car to work on. :bsjerk:
      Keep the Olds posts coming.
