      Well, there I was...........

the cops said I was running from them but the truth is the vibration from the engine had started making my rearview mirror go limp and the side mirror never stayed pointed in the right direction. I ran off in a ditch and banged up the passenger side fender, front valance, grill and header panel.
I was charged with reckless driving and the car and myself had to go to jail.
It's okay, I've been dying to find out how those repro fenders fit. It's not really that bad, the frame is good.
I want to get a better paint. I used some military surplus stuff last time and I want it to look more satin like the guys Camaro I mentioned above.
I think I found something from www.armyjeepparts.com They carry Gillespie Coatings, Inc. paint. It is a semi-gloss paint though.

BTW, I was out Street Fighting a '67 Camaro. Dude's car had chrome traction bars on it. :bsjerk:

Excellent idea. If anyone has any HRM's with F-bomb and could look it up I would appreciate it.

You could always pick a green you like and flatten the clear.

Last time I flattened clear (it's been a while) the amount of flattening agent dictated the overall finish. It would take some experimenting, but yes.

Yes the F-bomb used regular 2-stage with a flattening agent in the clear.. I am thinking it was ppg or basf... But I don't remember.

Agree with HFB PPG makes a flattening agent you mix it with reagular clear. The more agent added the flatter the paint...You don't want to use a straight DP epoxy it isn't UV stable and will start to breakdown with time, you must top coat it with either paint or clear
