The new Hot Rod Mag -- Optima Coverage

I got the early HR with the optima Coverage..

TWO pages in the Roddin at Random section. It mostly covered the scoring mistake at the end and..

How the Cobar "destroyed the muscle cars in on-track performace"

      Another Quote:

"This year, an original-owner 427 Cobra absolutely owned all the driving competitions, especially embarrassing every other car at the autocross"

lol.. I bet DF was loving it..

They failed to mention the driver of the Cobra was a 5-time champ and founder of an autocross school. If fact Jim got sorta screwed since they didn't even mention his name in the deal.

Looks like it's my magazine if you want any real coverage of the event.. it's a shame we can only really cover Camaros.

      Nothing..

      Six images..

Bret's '68 (Velocity) (RS Chevelle, GTR in background)
      Cobra
      Penny
      DSE '69
      Jackass
      Overheated GTO
      Kinnan crashed

That's it.. that stated the top three overalls with no times, scores, or details of the other events. Heck, more talk of the scoring drama than the event.

I didn't even mention the scoring screw up in my story since it had been fixed.. Too much good stuff I would rather praddle on about

Still, it's cool to see your car in HR and they said nice stuff about me.. just wish there was "more" coverage.

Then again, it sure beat the Gingerman coverage. lol

I own a mustang and still buy Camaro performers. I get too many good ideas from it.
