67 Camaro getting a PT resto

Here's what i want to do:
-Pearl Orange with it's original bumble bee stripe around the nose
      -a 396 punched to a 408 ci pushing 630 hp
-already dropped the TCI subframes for a handling upgrade (pics below)
-the Rear End is a Ford 9" with 3.70 grs
-Original in appearance (interior and exterior) but with slight hidden upgrades within.

Doesn't sound like much but i'm trying to do as much of it as possible by myself (with technical referance of course), plus i've never touched a car in my life before this.

Hope to hit the autocross courses before another deployment to the Afghan, which might me soon.

Thanks! where you at? up north i take it? my good friend is always making fun of me for being a "Camaro" guy, lol! he's got a sweet 69' Firebird but unfortunatley the body and paint guy he got did a poor job on the paint so he's pretty upset. anyways i'll be checking on your project. if you need any help i'm down the road and love learning more about anything. i'm pretty handy with my hands so if you ever need a hand give me a shout.

      other cars?

it's funny you mentioned that, right now my full effort is going into finishing the 67' before june. i know i can do it, i just don't know if my wallet (or my wife!) can handle it. However, i did recently pass up 2 sweet deals. one was a 57' GMC pick up in stellar condition and the other was a 69' firebird that was running with a pontiac 400 in it... i would have taken that home but it was sold by the time i found out
Drop me a line if you ever need some help.

If my wallet could afford it I would be much closer to done. RIght now all my parts and pieces are at olympic coatings getting sandblasted and powdercoated boy do I hate waiting. Im puttin a 454 with a turbo 400 in mine so we will have 2 1st gen big blocks prowlin the streets of North County haha. I will hit you up soon, Matt

Pendleton - So I'm assuming Marines?

Car looks awesome man, dont put that back seat or interior panels back in, they look very late 70's... lol.

      That suspension is wicked!
