Organizing a Winter Chicago Gathering.......

[cmraman]

Could we get some kind of head count to who is going to be there? I am going to try to make it. I have to drop the kids with their mother at 5pm. I will be close by so I could get there late. How late will it go?

[Bowtie1z28]

So far myself and 2 others(total 3) from the Team Camaro SS group will be attending. Could possibly be 1 or 2 others but can't confirm that right now.

I'm trying to get there, but may not be until around 6pm. Is that going to be too late??

[Young Gun]

Colin,

I will be heading out after work. I should be in Woodstock around 3:30 pm or so. Let me know if you need me to pick you up at the train station. As far as heading back to Chicago, I could drop you off at the Elgin train stop on the way home.

Matt

It depends on when everyone else wants to leave.
My guess is that people will be leaving by 6 but you're more than welcome to come and check it out still. We'll be around till at least 6, could be 7 even. Give us a call at the shop before you come if you'd like! check the site for the #.
Sounds like there's going to be a decent amount of people. We look forward to meeting/seeing you guys

[DaleBird82]

By the way, pictures are no problem! most of the projects are on the site already anyway.

Not to worry, for you guys that can't make it.....I can't either!! Jeff has volunteered to host another gathering, probably in mid to late January on a Saturday, we are still working on an exact date. I will post it up as soon as I know......hopefully you guys will be able to plan for that and HAVE most of those 30+ people that were interested in a winter get together out to Jeff's shop http://www.schwartzperformance.com/

I really take my hat off to guys like Jeff that step up in the name of the hobby and invite people into the shop.
It's a great thing for people to get together in the off season.

THANKS JEFF!!

[Young Gun]

Dammit, just got called into work, gonna have to wait for the next one I guess

[kochevy67]

January sounds great...I couldn't get today off since I took Thursday off for the drinking holiday. Hopefully I'll make the next get together. Hope the guys have fun today!
