I was hoping for a conservative 635/640 and a good deal more torque. Been working on a cam profile with COMP that will yield goot low and midrange numbers.

I was looking at doing a blower, but I decided that adding more displacement doesn't add any weight. I can still hook the power I have, so a little more won't hurt.

I see them as apples and oranges.. as different as drag racing is from road course work.

I'm bored with drag racing too if that helps explain it... or maybe it's ADD... I can't concentrate on more than one thing at a time! I see cones I think apex and track out!

That's about all you need. I'm at 491/497 at the tires and wouldn't mind another 50-70. A small bump in compression and a mechanical cam and I'm there. I'm just waiting on a reason to open her up. It will be useless on the autocross but nice on the road course and drag strip. I think your're making a smart move for reliabiltiy for what we plan to do with these cars.

I would like to invite everybody to come over to the big boy track in April for a nice tune up prior to Motorstate. Want high speeds? How's 160+ sound?

Lose the might and just do it Randy. Actually there is some urgency in that if there are not enough registrations by January, the event will be cancelled and entry fees refunded. I would hate to see this happen.

I'm really looking forward to this event as well. I has a great time last year. Hopefully I won't have a wedding to attend this year, and I can be around all day at Gingerman. I only got to run the first session in the morning before I had to head back to Grand Rapids for the wedding, but still had a blast flying around the road course. :-)
