Pictures of my 1966 Chevelle on 19 inch HRE's

Finally got all my wheels on and took some pictures. I would like to lower the front a little more but that will have to wait for some new suspension parts. Please don't mind all the dust and let me know what you think of the overall look an stance. Thanks

forgot to mention that the fronts are 19x8.5 with a 245/40 tire and 4.75 backspace. The rears are 19x9.5 with a 275/40 tire and 5.5 backspace.

About .5-1 inch lower on the front and I think you will have the stance nailed.

It was about 1.25 lower previously but it barely rubbed on the outside of the fenders. i think if i didn't have the inner fender liners it would have worked perfectly but i preferred to keep those in the car. here are some pictures of the previous stance i had that i loved but just didn't work out:

Very nice rims! Now get some real brakes on the car so it will stop properly Love the color choice too.

      I love that color.

The wheels are a little to euro for me on your car, but if that was the look you were going for....

Wheel fitment is a little off from what I would have done, which is tucked them in another .25-.50"... might have helped with the lowering and that rub you were talking about.

Car looks like its coming along nicely. Brakes would help that style of wheel look more at home on your car... some 12.2" Wilwoods maybe... they are pretty inexpensive, and would do the trick.

I like the wheels, its something different and unique and its nice to see a change other than 18's on a chevelle. 19's on the car look awesome. I say be creative, be daring

Looking good ! Gotta love making progress on them. Maybe not as great as firing a new motor or driving em but much better than sitting around while nothing happens to it.

I like the wheels too and the stance is pretty close. Have you tried button head fasteners on the inner fenders, for clearance?

5" backspace on those front wheels would probably have been optimum for that width but you know that already.
