      Help Tony With His Research

      Hey guys,

I know there are many people here with their cars torn apart, so this may be a great place for this research. As you may know, I'm writing a book on restoring first gen Camaros. Right now I'm researching the Fisher Body Stamps on the body panels.

Can you please help me? I don't need pics. I just need you to post your findings with the numbers on the doors, quarters, and deck lid. Maybe the year of your car too. Is your car a L.A. or Norwood car (the 7th digit is an "L" or an "N")?

The first stamp I'm looking at is the one on both doors under the door panels.

What numbers are on your doors?

In the trunk jamb (on both sides) near the hinges should be a stamp...if it's an original quarter.

What number is stamped under your deck lid in the center at the bottom of the inner support rib?

      Thanks in advance!

The doors, quarters, and many other parts on the car should have an "H" with the numbers. The trunk lid should have a "T" stamped before the numbers.

I hope some of you guys can help me out in a pinch with some of this info.

      Thanks,
