      Correct info on magnum installation

I have recently had several calls from customers stating the wrong information about what the Magnum will bolt up to and it wont.

I won't say were the incorrect information is coming from but I wanted to make this post so that the guys who may have taken there word for it would get the correct information.

Magnums come in basically 2 flavors Hydraulic and mechanical.

However Keisler can make it work behind all Gm motors no problem. We can also make it work with your original bell and mechanical linkage.

So don't listen to any company who tells you different. If they don't know how to do it would you really want to buy from them?

We have shipped the Magnums out for SBC, BBC and LS GM motors using either Mechincal or Hydrualic. We have done the same for Ford small blocks and it could also be done for Big block Ford as well.

We can also do this for of course Big Block, Small block and 3rd Gen Hemi. Actually sent two of these out already ( Mopar A,B and E bodies will require mods to the car to install)

I just wanted make sure you guys had the facts.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Check my post on the T-56 magnum install. It bolts right up to a SBC with mechanical linkage and orginal bellhousing. Keisler's kit is very complete and fits great.

Yes the word is No It will definitely need tunnel work. The main reason is you will want to use the stock crossmember to keep drive line angles in check. The Good news is the stock shifter location can be obtained so you could keep the console.

Is Tremec manufacturing the T56 Magnum with a front intermediate plate that will accept a clutch fork pivot?
