Im not saying that Scott's motors are junk by any means but, I think you ay a premium because it has his name on it. My body guy bought one of their motors (Nyes) for his '57 pickup and has been nothing but pleased with it for about a year now. Look around on the web, lots of guys are using Nyes motors and having success with them.

Scott just did a custom 540 motor for me in 10 days. And the thing I LOVE is the man called me a week after it was here to see how it went. We have not even installed it yet.
I can get you a price if you tell me exactly what you want.

Muncie Indiana,,... I talked with Pat at NYES yesterday, and since have done a little research into his motors, he seems to have a good reputation and a good following in the Midwest both in drag and truck pulling applications. Of course there will always be the "haters" out there too,
Being a business owner myself I know that it is impossible to have a 100% customer satisfaction record, as there is always going to be the impossible to please clients, who have no understanding or knowledge of what they really want or what is involved to produce and manufacture anything, but they can offer tons of advise on how to re-invent the wheel, or how to install a chrome wing nut on there air filter. (I just needed a good laugh today)
