      '73 Nova Door hinges...

Anyone know where a good place is to get some door hinges for my Nova? I already replaced the hinge pines but the hole is egged out way larger than the bushing. Also will a '68-'72 door fit a '73?

      I have hinges

Hey, I have a set of hinges upper and lower hinges for the left side but I can only find the upper hinge for the right side. Still in original packaging, aftermarket parts that I never used. I have a 73 Nova and these will suit your needs, please email me if you're interested, I was just about to put them on Ebay. Located in North NJ. [email protected].

If the hole is not egged out too badly, you can drill out both holes, and install the much heavier door bushings and hinge pins from the 73+ full size Chevy trucks. An old bodyshop guy showed me that back in the 80's. I did mine on the 72 couple of years back, can't remember the correct drill size but you could just mic the new pin.

You can also weld up the holes and redrill them.

Yeah on the driver side, upper, the hole is real bad. I thought about drilling it out and welding a steel bushing in place and just using a long bolt or other pin.

I think they should interchange, I have seen 68-72's with 73 doors on before.
