      Has anyone seen chevelle quarter panels widened before?

      I guess it would be considered widebody i was thinkin it might be pretty sick to pull off it it can be done right im thinkin not super wide but suttle to were you would be looking at the car and it would take you a second to figure out what was done.do yall catch what im saying i dont know how to explain it im thinkin on doing this to a 70 chevelle

      Pulling up an old thread.. I was thinking the same thing for a 67 Chevelle.. there is a body line that would facilitate bumping out the fender... I only want an inch to inch and a half... I could stuff a 315 in there....

      i believe west coast customs did it. they have the dark red chevelle thats in the general tire ads in all the mags. this all off the top of my head though.

      If you cut up your inner fenders you may beable to get a 315 in there with out having to widen the body or notch the frame. I think I found a way and everyone that saw it said my "logic" is right on. I will be doing this for a 305 in my 67 GTO, I would do a 315 but my wheels are 20x10 and they say not to put a 315 on a 10inch wide wheel.
