Got the issue in the mail last night... nice work. Just change the godamn exhaust tips to something tasteful; leave the rain-catchers for the VW & BMW crowd.

      Bumperless and black is best.
1987 Monte Carlo Super Slow - Super Worn Out 355, Carb, Giggle Juice, 3" Duals, 200-4R & 4.56s
      1987 Turtle Buick - T63e, 83s, FMIC, MPE DP, PowerLogger, MAFT Pro, 4" Single, ProPain & 3.08s
      2002 Crapmaro B4C - LS1, A4, SLP Lid, DiabloSport, Cutout & 3.23s
      2007 TrailBlazer Super Slug - LS2, A4, AWD, Tune, CAI, Exhaust & 4.11s

If you didn't build it, it's not yours.

I haven't even gotten an issue! They just told me it would be written in a biased way.

      Thanks! It is bumperless now!

I think it was as fair a write-up as you'll see from a pretty traditional magazine like HRM. HOWEVER, the true nature of hotrodding is going against the grain with a by-any-means-necessary approach to speed & power. So job well done.

I have to say I really like this car. Its so different and I think you did an excellent job. You have it harder than me when it comes to critizism for the engine you installed. I say no bumper. Also that engine bay is so clean and like art work but you need to loose the ziptie on the fuse. Not trying to bust on you either its just your car is too nice to have that! The tips are ok although something more discreet might be even better.

Thanks for everyone's compliments and opinions. We are just glad to be part of Automotive Hot Rodding History to be the first to drop a Japanese Engine in a 1st Gen Camaro and make it work really well. Like you said motorheadmike, the true nature of hotrodding is going against the grain with a by-any-means-necessary approach to speed & power.

Nice looking car. I'd like to see it with a black front bumper that is modified and brought in tighter to the body. Maybe someone can photoshop one? JMO. I think they are missing something without one.

      That engine is AMAZING!!!

      Thanks for the Enthusiasm!

Speaking of adrenaline here is a quick video clip. Short shifting and granny shifting involved, tires were spinning like crazy in all the gears. Didn't have enough room to keep going safely.

Culture Shock Camaro was well under the speed limit and this was done in an area in Mexico.

      Hey Ted,

What camera are you using in that video? The quality and the image stabilization looks great! I am in the market for a video system and trying to gather as much information as I can prior to purchasing any equipment. Also, what kind of mount are you using?

The reason I asked is, here in Milwaukee EVS is Ernie Von Schledorn, an old German guy who is a new car dealer. From years of advertising exposure, my mind is programmed.
