      Throttle response?

I have a Texas Speed 570 horse LS3 with a provided Speartech DBW ECU-harness in my 69 Firebird. One thing that has always bothered me a little is the sluggish throttle response. I feel like more crisp throttle response would make driving the car even more fun. I've noticed there a couple of companies selling DBW add-on tuners. Anyone have any experience with these?

I haven't tried that product but sluggish throttle response is tune based for sure. That motor should snap to life. Just take it to a local tuning shop and have them give you a proper tune.

I'm not worried about power. It will run identical lap times to a 2015 Z/28 that I had. It just seems like there should be less lag between my foot and the throttle response.

Get yourself a DBW throttle controller, Pedal Commander , Sprint Booster, Vitesse throttle contoller , these run about 250-300.00
There are cheaper similar products on Amazon for 40-50.00 but don't know if I would trust these to work without
      throwing a Code.

And you can buy used on Ebay

They really work well, I have a Sprint Booster on my BMW , its great.

The Vitesse controller is programmable, re-calibrates the Voltage of your gas pedal, there's a procedure online to do this.

This can be done with HPTuners and your existing ECU.

Forgive my ignorance, but are there any reputable online tuners that can log in to a stock type ecu and do a tune? I have a Holley Terminator X in my 66 and have done several remote tunes with the engine builder.

Yes, but you’d need HP tuners to do so. You could get it and play around with the throttle tables to see what you like. I don’t like the idea of having an aftermarket throttle tuner between my pedal and ECU, but to each their own. You could also pick up a ported throttle body. They usually make the tip in response more snappy.
