      Tri 4 Bar vs Quadra Link

      I am building a pro touring 1967 Firebird I already have Detroit Speed subframe connectors and mini tubs welded in trying to decide on my rear suspension looking at Art Morrison Tri 4 Bar with the rear sway bar vs the Detroit Speed Quadralink wondering if anyone out there has these systems and can tell me the pros and cons I’m mainly driving this car as a cruiser to car shows and autocross

      Hands down the QuadraLink.

      Giant rubber bushings dampen noise and vibration. Far less compromise in the geometry. Way easier to adjust for wheel base, pinion angle, and side to side axle location.

      Speedtech torque arm is worth a look too.

      I run the DSE Quadralink and I love it. Zero noise, good ride quality when cruising and handles like its on rails (I have their hydroformed subframe as well). Even if I wasn't building an autocross car, I'd still go with the Quadralink just because it works and works well...plus you can build off it down the road if needed.

      I also went with the quadralink and dse sub. I will say though if I was not running the dse front then I would of likely went with the speedtech torque arm.

      The nice thing about it is that it is a bolt-on system

      What would be a better system ridetechs 4 link or Detroit speeds Quadralink bolt on isn’t really super important to me I’m already welding so much new sheet metal on the car what’s a little more for the Quadralink

      Basically I’m trying to decide on my complete suspension now as the brackets will be much easier to weld or bolt in now while it’s on the rotisserie I’m for sure going with ridetechs tru turn system as I have my rims and tires already for the car and the fronts are 275 and an aftermarket subframe is out of the budget I’m deciding between ridetechs full front system with control arms and Shocks with Detroit speeds Quadralink our back or speedtechs full GT kit paired with ridetechs tru turn. Thoughts?

      Just comparing one to the other my opinion is that the DSE has better geometry. The ridetech design being bolt in has some design limitations. That being said, if I was going with the ridetech front then I would probably use their rear as well. I almost did too, but I ended up getting the full DSE setup for not much more that the ridetech was so I went that way. I needed everything for the front including a steering box so when added up the DSE cost about 1500 more for my situation and the components I choose.
