      Pinion yoke question.

Pinion yoke question, does a Ford 9 inch rear end have to be reset if you want to change the yoke? It’s brand new never been broken in.
When you install a CV driveshaft does it matter which end the CV joint goes when you have it built if the angles are close on both ends?

Wouldn't you use a CV style slip yoke on the trans end and the u joint style at the rear diff?

I'm wasn't sure how it's done, I just checked Andrew's GTO post and saw the drive shaft he used.

I think Andrews driveshaft had CV joints on both ends as I recall.

Yeah, he did. I think it depends on how extreme the angles are on whether you need them on bod ends? I have seen some from the Driveshaft shop with CV only on one end.

Andrew's GTO has a single CV joint in the front the back is a universal joint. I just checked pg 29 shows it. His Cougar has the double CV joints ,that's why I asked the questions.
I was already in touch with Lucas at the Drive Shaft Shop a few months ago but life kicked me and got in the way again So I need to get back to him.
